Ex - Offenders

Helping ex offenders reintegrate

Reducing re-offending

Repurpose project UK is working hard to reduce the number of people who re-offend. About a third of prisoners released from custody in the UK re-offend within a year of being released and our focus is on making sure they find the right path and live a crime free life.

Most offenders face the complex circumstances when they are released from prison together with set of barriers which can seem insurmountable. Without the right support many have trouble breaking out of a cycle of crime which is often ingrained in their attitudes, social networks and families.

What we do enable people to participate in positive and purposeful diversionary activity, improving integration, building a sense of belonging and involvement and developing a resilience to turn their back on the past.

Our programme works in close partnership with Individuals and businesses in the community to either provide training or a chance to start up their business. Working alongside other service providers is also crucial to ensure we are maximizing the chances the people we work for to live a crime free life
